So instead of Monday Munchies today, I thought I would do a little Makeup Monday. A "what's new" post on things that are new and current in the makeup world (or whatever new trend is out there). I will try to do these ever so often when I find something new and fun to post about.
I'm a fan of Revlon. It is probably one of my favorite drugstore brands so I thought I would do a quick post on what's new and happening with Revlon cosmetics.
Keep in mind this post isn't a review on any of these products. I will have a review if and when I get a hold of some of these new Revlon products. They have been out for a minute but I've been on a makeup buying hold for a while so I've yet to pick them up. I plan to try some out soon. I'm hoping Walgreen's runs a BOGO sale soon.
Have you tried out these new Revlon products?
Todays What's New is going to be featuring Revlon.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
"It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood."
I tried to pick up a couple of these kissable balm stains the other day but the ones I wanted weren't available so I'm still on the hunt. :) No worries if you can't find them, they will be a part of their permanent collection. They retail at around $8ish give or take a little depending on the store. These do twist up and down if you were curious about that. I have not gotten my hands on any yet but I'm definitely curious about trying them out and comparing them to Revlon's Lip butters. :)
Revlon Escapism The 2012 Summer Collection
"Gucci Westman, celebrity makeup artist and Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, found her inspiration while visiting St. Tropez. Its aqua blue waters, white sandy beaches and golden sunlight played muse as she brought to life an array of sparkling hues and bold colors. The collection incorporates these and top shades seen on runways into your favorite Revlon products, including Revlon ColorBurst™ Lipgloss and Revlon Nail Enamel in four new sun, sand and sea inspired shades, and a dazzling Revlon CustomEyes™ Shadow and Liner palette in Beach Beauty. Escapism also introduces the Revlon PhotoReady™ Bronzer and the Revlon PhotoReady™ Cream Blushes available in three silky shades. The collection’s last, but must-have “it” item for the season is a limited-edition Highlighting Stick in Golden to boost the natural hues of a golden bronzed tan."
This new summer collection has lots of fun items and colors but I'm most excited about the photoready cream blushes. I've been digging cream blushes for awhile now and these just intrigue me even more. :) The prices range depending on different things in the collection but you can find these cream blushes for around $12.99. A little pricey but I've heard they are worth it.
