Jewelry Storage & Organization

Hi everyone and Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week. I know we did and enjoyed my hubbies two days off. He is back to work today (if you can call an organizational day work..ha) but should be home early so I just wanted to do a quick post since I slacked yesterday. I mentioned last week I had planned to post my jewelry storage and organization so here are a few pics of my jewelry collection and how I store it.

This is the Lori Greiner Gold & Silver Safekeeper Wall Jewelry Cabinet. You can purchase one on QVC or I've also seen them on eBay as well. She also has a stand version which is exactly the same it just comes with a stand instead of wall mountable. It's a little expensive but if you have quite a bit of jewelry it's a great investment to keep all of your stuff safe and in one place. I also find that I wear my jewelry 10x as much now that I have this cabinet because I can see everything and I don't have to dig through boxes or containers like I use to have it stored. I also use to store it in 3 drawers of our dresser and it took up way to much valuable clothes space.

Remember me saying I wasn't a huge fan of rings? I never realized my ring collection was so small until I stored it in this. haha! These are just my fashion rings though.

The picture below is a little top drawer in a nightstand cabinet that I keep in my closet. I keep some larger bangles that don't fit in the above cabinet well, a couple broaches, and a watch. This is where I use to store my rings, and some earrings that I wore often. Anyone spy little 4 year old toesies?? ;)

I managed to free up two dresser drawers but I still needed one to keep some boxes, a few larger necklace pieces that were too chunky for the wall cabinet, some holiday jewelry, travel jewelry cases, and my old jewelry box that I've had for years and years. I keep keepsake jewelry pieces in that box, mainly pieces from my grandmother and my mom as well as rings/necklace pendants that my husband has bought me over the years. I don't usually wear these pieces anymore but it's definitely not something I would ever get rid of because they mean more than anything in the other cabinet combined.

This is the two travel jewelry cases I own. I use the smaller one all the time. It is great for weekend trips or if you are a light packer for even longer trips as well. These two bags are by a brand called PreZerve.

So that is pretty much the gist of my jewelry and how I store/organize it. There are lots of cute ideas online to organize your jewelry especially with display items but with my 4 year old I just prefer to keep stuff out of reach.

How do you store and organize your jewelry?
