Truly, showbiz is an entertainment industry – the public gets entertained on the various quirks of the stars in it. Haven’t we heard and read all the weird and peculiar behavior of most celebrities on and off camera? Whether intentionally done or not, it brings some people to conclude that showbiz life and the kind of work that actors do have a lot to do with it.
After several scary brushes with the lead actor LA, production people PP in a hit teleserye HT have learned their lesson. They know for sure how not to turn the quiet lead actor LA into someone violent and creepy – and how?
LA is so addicted to sleep that it is a big sin for anyone to wake him up. Don’t ever make the mistake of rousing him because you don’t know what will hit you – literally. You surely don’t want to see an incredible hulk in the flesh looking at you eye to eye!
During taping breaks, LA would prefer to sleep inside his van than do anything else. His sleep would often be a long one by normal taping break standards. Yet PP would be so scared of rousing LA every time he needed to be called for his scenes. They said how they wish there would be an invisible carpet everytime they would do it. And who wouldn’t be afraid?
In one of the episodes of HT, sleeping LA was summoned by the director to be called to shoot for his scenes. The very scared PP went to LA’s van to wake him up, and guess what happened? As soon as LA opened his eyes, they turned red and soon after, he went berserk, throwing on the air everything his hands could lay on. Flying objects? Oh yes, some people on the set said they were reminded of those scenes on the movie Deep Impact. Well, it would have been a perfect scene any director would love to catch on film.
On the other hand, lead actress LA was smarter, ironically. She’s very good at calculations and made sure she couldn’t be made to work when her time was up. If her call time was 12nn that meant her pack-up time was 12am of next day. Whether all her scenes would be shot or not, she called it a day…no more, no less. Smart eh?!
