Mi-Me Beauty Tip Of The Week

As some of you may know 1/2 of the Mi-Me crew had the opportunity to spend a week at the beach. Not unlike most people I enjoy the sun, the surf, the sand and the shells which are all quite amazing, but the pursuit of them can be extremely bad for our favorite accessory: The Skin. Spending time outdoors enjoying nature often leads to the accumulation of bacteria, dirt, and oil which clogs our pores and causes them to stretch; eventually showing up in the form of acne, pimples, blackheads and also causing skin to look dull and uneven. Larger pores are in many ways genetic, but are also a result of aging skin, sun damage, buildup of not so great things, and decreased elasticity. One very simple method to temporarily shrink your pores and loosen up the dirt and bacteria is to mix equal parts orange juice and water, then apply the mixture all over your face with a cotton ball. Wait 3-5 minutes and rinse off the mixture with warm water and enjoy the new look of your skin. It is important to note that there is no permanent solution to reduce the size of pores which are more noticeable on the forehead, chin, and nose, but why not reduce them naturally if we can.
