TV executive 1 (TE1) and TV executive 2 (TE2) had a misunderstanding that resulted in both of them filing their respective resignations from their current positions. The absence of the lead stars of an upcoming movie in a press conference was interpreted as a sign of the conflict.
However, after a short time, TE2 retracted his resignation, whereas TE1 continued with hers. Rumors have it that TE2 had a change of heart because he thinks he is being groomed to take over her position. Meanwhile, TE1 said she wants to spend more time with her family. Netizens are happy with TE1 leaving her position. Over the years, they felt that she had been favoring others (and a relative) over the homegrown talents and projects of the network.
The question now is what will happen to the relative of TE1, who has cornered quite a big share of exposure in the network. In another development, a senior star builder, who has remained loyal with the network, has been hired as a consultant in the office formerly headed by TE1. Senior Star Builder (SS) is having the last laugh because the executives of the network who tried to ease him out by cancelling all his shows years ago are now gone.
