(Sorry if you were expecting a new project pretty post today. I got mixed up, it's actually next Thurs. Oops!)
I picked up these flats at Target at the beginning of April and have wore them pretty much everyday. Love them! They are super comfy and just plain cute too. The only thing I will say is that if you plan to walk a lot in them then pick up some insoles. It doesn't have much in the way of heel support but it's a flat so there you go. I also picked up these flats in black and brown. They are also super comfy. I'm usually in flip flops during the Summer but maybe it will be a flats kind of Summer this year. :)
This month I've been watching The Voice since it came back on. I stopped watching American Idol. I caught a couple of shows this season only because Paul Jolley was on it and he is from my small county in TN where I grew up but other than that I don't care about Idol. The Voice just seems more real and legit. They don't make fun of those who can't sing and are positive towards the ones who they let go. Oh... and it has Adam Levine for a judge. Enough said!!
So we are getting ready to go back home to visit in May and we made plans to go to the Smoky Mountains with the folks while we are at home. Gatlinburg is my all time fave place and I haven't been in over a year and a half. It's time! I love the Rockies and I'm glad that being out here in Kansas has allowed us the chance to see them several times but there is nothing like the Smokies. I am a mtns girl if you didn't already know that. :)
K's Choice: I'm Not An Addict
I usually listen to 80s music the majority of the time but I have been listening to some old school 90s the past few weeks. I always loved this song. Love her voice!
I haven't really been pinning anything specific this month. They have mainly just been all over the boards. Here is one of my recent pins. I love this little entertaining setup. It would be great for a Summer party. :)
I just finished Walking Disaster. If you have read Beautiful Disaster then this is the sequel to it. The book is great, don't get me wrong, but it's pretty much the same book except in the male characters perspective. However, you do get the epilogue at the end that the Beautiful Disaster didn't have. Love the book even more than the first one to be honest but only slightly disappointed that I knew what happened in the story already. If you haven't read either of the books I definitely recommend them.
