TV5 network is not poised to renew the contract of its talent, Willie Revilame. The network refused to give Mr. Revilame his demand of Php90Million talent fee per month for Wowowilie, TV5's noontime show that stars Revillame as host and producer.
The talk was finalized last night at a meeting when a top TV5 executive told Mr. Revilame, "Sorry, we will not renew your contract. The show has terrible ratings."
Upon hearing this, it was learned that Willie submitted his resignation right away to preempt any talks that will come out in media that his contract was not renewed, and to make it appear that it was he who resigned way ahead.
With these developments, the answer to the question which had been hanging for months now has been finally settled. But there's still one more - the anxious public wants to know as to what network will Willie bring his show - or will he?
Earlier, Ms. Charo Santos - Concio, ABS-CBN's President and CEO belied reports of Willie's transfer to ABS. She confirmed that the network is not taking Mr. Revillame back.
