Sometime ago, the Manila nightlife scene was rocked by a scandal involving a few socialites and a foreigner. Although most of these people were not public figures, the scandal propelled serious attention from the media. The public became curious, and thus, the group name GN coined for them became a buzzword. According to a blog, GN comprised of socialites who allegedly used drugs, frequented bars, and worse, were mostly freeloaders. In other words, they wanted someone else to pay for their fun time.

Now, another similar group has emerged. This time, the new GN, NGN is bigger, and has celebrities coming from fashion, showbiz, modeling, and high society. NGN allegedly does the same thing, such as drugs and drink. Amidst all this, a successful young actor SY was dragged into the NGN. Known for his vices, SY was the one who paid for the substance used by NGN. With such a status, SY has the means for their indulgences. However, he was never seen trying out the stuff himself. He would just indulge in alcohol and nothing more.

Perhaps, SY realized that being in NGN would not do him any good, SY stopped hanging out with the substance users, and decided to straighten his life out to give more attention to his career and love life. After SY left, a former beauty queen FB who had a controversial connection with him, was seen in the company of NGN. Of course, FB could not escape the speculation that she might be doing the stuff NGN is infamous for.

Nonetheless, NGN is on the lookout for someone who can pay for their expensive habits. Thus, a hunk actor HA known for his fragrance is apparently being eyed by them. HA might not have the wealth of SY, but he is still one of the network’s more bankable celebrities.
