In the hours after trying a new activity, say white water rafting or a more strenuous workout, like running the stadium steps, your muscles may become tight, sore and painful. First, choose either a quarter cup of a light oil, like olive or safflower oil or a 2 oz jar your favorite Mi-Me butter. To that add 10 drops each of ginger, cinnamon, and peppermint essential oils. Stir well to mix and massage into any sore spots or joints.
