Pumpkins contain enzymes that dissolve dead skin cells, help fight acne, and hyperpigmentation to reveal your best skin. Use this tip for a tasty mask that will hydrate, rejuvenate, and smooth skin.
Combine 1/4 cup of fresh or canned pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon of blackstrap molasses, and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Apply to any discolored or dry patches on the skin of your face or body and allow to stand for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. This mask is packed with antioxidants, vitamins A & C, and copper which will speed up your skin's regeneration and healing process. If you’re short on time and don’t have 15 minutes to spare, stir in 1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar and rub into damp skin as a yummy scrub. Either formulation will leave your skin gorgeous and glowing. Continued use will help minimize the appearance of scars and even your skin tone. One batch will last for up to a week in the ‘fridge or share the wealth of radiant skin with a friend.
