Mi-Me Beauty Tip Of The Week

It's very rare for both members of The Mi-Me Crew to have the same beauty dilemma. But we suspect that most people experiencing these frigid temperatures are plagued with dry palms and ragged cuticles, as well. It seems no matter how much lotion or natural butters we've applied, nothing seems to help. This hydrating hand soak will replenish moisture to your hands while leaving your skin silky and supple.

To create your softening hand soak, add 2 tablespoons of oat bran to the bottom of a deep bowl and pour in 2 cups of warm water. Stir in 1 tsp of honey and 1/2 tsp of apple cider vinegar. The honey helps moisturize your hands, while the vinegar helps gently dissolve the dry skin of your cuticles. For fragrance and to increase circulation to your hands, add one drop of ginger essential oil and two drops of cinnamon essential oil. Soak hands for 10 minutes and rub the silky bran all over your hands to help deeply moisturize your skin. When your soaking time is up, rinse and apply a light oil or your favorite Mi-Me butter while your hands are still damp. This soak can be used weekly or biweekly throughout the winter to help keep your hands soft and silky.

Mi-Me Recommends our Avocado Butter or our Sweet Neroli Body Nectar.
