Dear Fashion Pulis,
Thank you for featuring a blog on the TRUE situation of an ongoing demoralization among the production the staff in the show. Unfortunately, the cyber-bullying has not stopped. One would expect that the head of this team (HB) would reprimand his fans since your article came up. Instead, he intentionally ignored the crisis and allowed his followers to tweet insults and negative comments to head of the other team (HT).
As one of the performers in the show, I have to admit that I have been affected by the cyber bullying since our hard work in the performances are always criticized below the belt by the supposed fans of our show. We feel sorry for HT, who does his best for any show assigned to him. Sadly, some of the production staff has resigned. Even someone from the other team resigned to show sympathy to the demoralized staff.
We are aware that cyber bullying comes from just a fansite but we cannot accept that the fansite is actively administered by someone working in the same show where we perform.
I am writing to you now to ask you to please let this story, this crisis and this inside situation to stay afloat. We have expressed our feelings to our managers and to management, but we feel the network is not doing anything and thinks that “competition” helps the show.
I saw your article because it was reprinted at an entertainment site. I hope that you could make a rejoinder to the previous blog about the brewing trouble in this TV show.
I am attaching a photo taken from the bullying fansite with proof of how they want our show this Sunday to fail or flop. It also shows how HB is still active in the site yet he does not control the situation and allows his followers to bash under the pretense of "opinions."
Many thanks and more power to you.
A Performer
Rejoinder: After the show last weekend, the buzz is going on that changes are forthcoming in the show. One host even allegedly said that there will be no more teams. This statement puzzled fans as to whether the said show will be axed after next week, when the other group will be performing.
Moreover, what is more troubling is that the network seems to be beleaguered as its major talents are rumored to be thinking of transferring to other networks. The history of the weekly began with four seasoned performers, and gradually expanded to accommodate other younger talents. Now, one of these seasoned performers (SP), who is well respected and seen as a leader has yet to publicly acknowledge if he will be staying on. Has this ambivalent stance of SP affected the show? Do the changes in the variety show, whether it will be reformatted or axed, have something to do with the impending decision of SP?
