Behind the Good Image

Image is certainly not a problem for this female TV host and writer (HW). She graduated from top schools for high school and university. She landed hosting stints in her current network because she is very articulate and intelligent. On air, she can speak her mind and still garner respect. Other than her job at the network, HW is also an appointed representative of an international organization.

At one point, viewers got a glimpse of her love life, and even rooted for her relationship with a low-profile production head (PH). However, her entering a reality show made her followers see how feeble she can be when it comes to attraction. She and another model actor (MA) started to get chummy in the top-rating show. Eventually, and expectedly, HW and PH broke up. In the end, other than their friendship, nothing official and serious happened between HW and MA.

HW continued to be visible on TV and garnered her own share of followers. When technology became fashionable, HW was one of the pioneer users of social networking sites which she used to her advantage. Her blog and twitter accounts began to prop up her image. However, followers and fans who disagree with her twitter rants will have a piece of her mind via a direct message aka DM. (Note that a DM is not visible on the twitter timeline.) Those who have received DMs from her attest that how she conducts herself via her DMs is a far cry from the image she projects - because she can be really   brutal.

Incidentally, HW stirred a bit of a buzz a few weeks ago when she did a daring pose on the cover of a men’s magazine. The cover photo was definitely in contrast to her girl-next door image. Something that shocked her fans and the public, who were in disbelief what she would be capable of doing. Until they realized that she was old enough to do such a bold career move. HW is in her late 20s, by the way.
