I have dry skin and it definitely means my lips tend to be super dry too. It doesn't help that Kansas has some of the craziest winds. My lips have been known to peel and crack so much to the point of bleeding. It's just not pretty and makes for wearing lipstick a pain in the butt.
I have tried so many different lip balms from some that were just good for flavor basically to some that were medicated. The only thing I have found that worked the best for me was using Vaseline. Unfortunately, that is a greasy mess and because of that I would only put it on at night.
La Roche-Posay Nutritic Lips had great reviews so it was something I definitely wanted to try. Even though my bargain tendencies would normally stir me away from a $15 lip balm. However, once I got this lip product I realized that I found the product that works for me. I noticed results immediately. The texture is not greasy and it doesn't feel like you had to coat your lips in a whole tube of product to cure the dryness.
Like I said, the only downfall is that it's a little pricey for a lip balm. But, I feel like you pay good money for lipstick and gloss that your lips should at least look their best. I'm definitely willing to pay 10-15 dollars for the La Roche-Posay Nutritic Lips for those results.

It is a keeper and a great product for those of us who have severely dry lips and definitely can't hurt for those of you that are lucky and don't.
